PZ Cussons Nigeria Senior Staff Cooperative Multipurpose Society Ltd, Ikorodu Started as a Thrift and Credit society in 1985 by some visionary managers who saw the need to operate a platform toassist the managers to a better future which is free of financial hassles.
The operation started by giving out loans up to twice members’ savings with single digit interest rate, which was repayable over a period of maximum of two(2) years.
The structure put in place by these leaders proved pivotal in the success and progresswhich theCooperative society has recordedover the years to be where it is today.
The Cooperative Society upgraded to a Multipurposesociety in 2005 for more expansive opportunities for the benefits of the members. This step gave the society a wider operational framework for more accomplishments.
The Cooperative society has been commended yearly for managing the affairs of the cooperative exceptionallyand has won awards and recognition from the Lagos State Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives.
Over the years, since becoming a multipurpose society, the Cooperative Society has supported members in the acquisition of various assets such as cars, houses, home appliances and other landed properties. The Cooperative Society has also invested some funds into some viable financial institutions which have been giving good returns to the purse of the society.
The society has continued to attract members across the various functions across the group and level within the organization. It is clearly on record that as some members leave the organization new members also come on board a trend that allows for stability, sustainability and sound health of the society.
The society has a track record of financial professionals and seasoned individualsfrom all fields of endeavors whohelps manage the affairs of the society ensuring continuity.
The successive management team has been instrumental in ensuring good succession plans which have helped in the good health of the society. The activities of the Society have been well supported by the PZ management team and the Lagos State’s Ministry of Agric, Cooperative and Investment.

SAVINGS PLAN
This plan is compulsory for all members, it helps us become financially secure and provide a safety net in case of an emergency.
LOANS
Credit facility in form of loans are given to members at a very low interest rates. Types of Loan includes: Normal Loan, Commodity Loan, Land Loan, Christmas/Salah Loan.
COMMODITIES
Consumable and non-consumable commodities are sold to members at competitive wholesale price.
